Most Temenos programs do not fail on technology. They fail on coordination — competing roadmaps, ambiguous accountability and stakeholder fatigue.

Hybrid is the realistic default

Pure waterfall is too slow for configuration work. Pure agile is too loose for regulated change. The combination — agile at the team level, disciplined governance at the program level — is what actually works.

Risks must be owned, not just listed

A risk register without owners is a wish list. Effective programs assign every material risk to a named individual with the authority to act.
